What is the Airobot automatic check-in service?
When you book a flight, you have the option to select ‘automatic flight check-in’ with Airobot. This service will check you and all passengers on your booking in for all flights included in the same reservation.
What are the benefits of this service?
As soon as check-in opens, Airobot will automatically check you and all passengers on your booking in. Not only does this save you time, but it also reminds you when check-in opens, so you no longer need to spend time queuing at the check-in desk at the airport.
How does it work?
- When booking, select the ‘Automatic flight check-in’ service and you’ll be checked in automatically.
- Some airlines require additional personal details. In this case, you will receive a separate email containing a link to the check-in form.
- Please provide the details of all passengers on your booking (passenger’s date of birth, expiry date of their identity card, country of issue, etc.). This form must be completed in accordance with the instructions provided in the email, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- You will be sent a reminder email if any information is still missing.
- You will receive your boarding pass by email approximately 12 hours before the flight departs.
Please print or download your boarding pass and keep it in a safe place.
Important to note:
- If your return flight is operated by a different airline, Airobot may request additional details to ensure successful automatic check-in.
- If, for any reason, Airobot is unable to complete your flight check-in, you will receive an email from Airobot notifying you that the service could not be provided. In this case, you will be entitled to a refund from us for the service not provided. You will still need to check in for your flight online yourself.

Before checking in online, we recommend that you check your personal details and ensure you have all the documents required for your journey: a valid passport or identity card, a visa and any other documents required for your journey.
Once you have all your documents and are ready to check in, follow these steps:
- go to the website of the airline you are flying with;
- click on ‘Check-in’;
- enter your booking reference, first name, surname, departure date and flight number, and select any other passengers you wish to check in;
- complete all the check-in steps, select your seats and any additional baggage (if required). Please note: once you have checked in, you will not be able to make any further changes;
- print your boarding pass or download it to your smartphone.
You have now checked in for your flight, so when you arrive at the airport, all you need to do is drop off your luggage. This will save you time at the check-in desk!
You’ve checked in and received your boarding pass. But what exactly is a boarding pass? Your boarding pass contains all the essential information about your flight. After passing through security at the airport and before boarding the aircraft, you will be asked to present your boarding pass.
There are two types of boarding pass:
- a paper boarding pass (see example below)
You print this at home and bring it with you to the airport. If you are unable to print it at home, you can print your boarding pass at a self-service check-in kiosk, or ask a member of staff at the check-in desk.
- Mobile boarding pass (see example below)
You can download this to your smartphone. The QR code on the boarding pass can be scanned at the airport. Tip: take a screenshot of your mobile boarding pass. That way, you’ll always have your ticket to hand.
We recommend saving your boarding pass in case you need to make a claim later or wish to claim your frequent flyer points.
Check-in procedures for so-called low-cost airlines may vary slightly. In most cases, for flights with airlines such as Ryanair, Laudamotion, easyJet, Wizz Air and Air Baltic, you must check in online. If you do not do so, an additional fee will be charged at the airport.

- This does not guarantee that all passengers on the booking will be seated together.
- Airobot cannot carry out automatic check-in or send you a boarding pass until the airline has authorised check-in for the flight.
- If Airobot is unable to check you in for the flight, you will receive an email notifying you of this and will be entitled to a refund for the unused service from Greitai.lt.

If you have time, you can go shopping, but do make sure you arrive at the boarding gate on time. In most cases, yes. The vast majority of airlines offer and even recommend online check-in. However, there are some airlines that only allow check-in at the airport.
Do I have to print out my boarding pass?
We recommend that you do so. Some airlines do not allow you to have your boarding pass on your phone alone. You’ll feel more secure if you have a printed copy of your boarding pass.
Is checking in for a flight at the airport a paid service?
Usually, no. However, some airlines do charge a fee for checking in at the airport.
What happens if I miss my flight?
If you’re late for or miss your flight, not only will you miss out on reaching your destination, but you may also face financial penalties from the airline operating the flight.
Most airlines allow you to check in online 24–48 hours before departure. For intercontinental flights, it’s even earlier. We’ll send you an email 24 hours before your flight, so you’ll know when you can check in online.
During school holidays or public holidays, we recommend arriving at the airport at the following times:
When flying to or from European countries – at least 2 hours before your flight. When flying to non-European countries – at least 3 hours before your flight.
Are you travelling with hand luggage only and have you already checked in online? We still recommend arriving at the airport early. Always bear in mind that you may encounter traffic on the way to the airport, public transport may be delayed, and the airport may be very busy during peak holiday periods. You certainly don’t want to miss your flight.
Always check the website of the airport and/or the airline you’re flying with for the latest flight information.
