A credit card is required to hire a car

When collecting the car, the main driver must have a valid driving licence and a credit card in their own name. A deposit is reserved on the credit card to ensure that the customer can cover the costs in the event of damage to the vehicle and/or equipment. A passenger’s credit card must NEVER be used.

If you wish to return the car to a different location from where you collected it, you must always let us know in advance. You may be required to pay an additional fee.

The terms and conditions of car hire always specify the insurance terms; you can find this information on the Rentalcars website.

If you are renting a car via our website, your booking will be processed by ‘Rental Cars’. If you have any questions about your car hire, please contact ‘Rental Cars’. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you.

In most cases, you can add an additional driver or extra services, such as a sat-nav, to your booking. Additional charges may apply. You must pay for these on arrival, unless otherwise stated on your receipt. Like the main driver, an additional driver must hold a valid driving licence.

When you book a car hire online with Rental Cars, you will receive a booking confirmation and a receipt. If you do not receive these within 15 minutes of making your booking, please contact Rental Cars.

This optional insurance may already be included in your travel insurance (please check this in advance). If you wish to take out this insurance, you can do so on the spot when you collect your hire car.

If you book a car hire through our website, your booking will be processed by ‘Rental Cars’. To change or cancel your car hire, you will need to contact them. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with this.

In most places, you can request a child seat and make other requests. These are displayed when booking a hire car. In most US states, the law requires children to be transported in special child seats. There is usually an additional charge for this at the car hire location.
